The Mumbai-based recruitment app, Super has acquired Viraltrics, a mobile SaaS startup for deep linked referrals. As part of the acquisition, Bhavna Muraleedharan – the founder of Viraltrics has joined Super as Co-founder.

Viraltrics, previously known as WiGi, allows mobile apps to acquire and engage users through ready-to-use growth hacking solutions. The app allows developers to create either a referral, referral reward or notification trigger and map it to the trigger points in the app.

Speaking on the acquisition, Faisal Memon, the founder and CEO at Super App said, “Our acquisition of half a million user base was organic and we were using Viraltrics for the same, thats how I met Bhavna. Over the months that we used her product, Bhavna and I met frequently to integrate new feature roll outs as well as brainstorm growth ideas, optimizing user experience etc. During one such discussion we happened to share common vision of how jobs should connect people to companies. Our common interest to disrupt the jobs space led to the acquisition.”

“Bhavna has vast experience in the mobile domain having worked on mobile apps, big data etc which led her to build Viraltrics. I am very happy that she joined us; her experience with Viraltrics will give a new direction to Super’s growth and yes – thats what we are aiming for,” he added.

Super App is also working on disrupting the job space ground up wherein instead of everyone going behind everyone we connect people only to the jobs/candidates that match. The company believes that this a tough challenge that they are super excited to solve and requires a team of very smart people. It is also looking to grow to 300 people team in next 6 months.

Super was first launched as a mobile resume builder in 2013 and saw good traction with 2.5 Lac downloads from all around the globe. It has half a million registered job seekers, rated over 8500 times with 100K screen views everyday. The company also claims to have 100+ companies as part of their closed Beta like JustUnfollow, Webengage, Wingify, Helpshift, Flatchat, Zepo, Haptik, Grabhouse.
