Go-Jek To Hire 100 Engineers For Bengaluru Division

GO-JEK Engineering, one of Southeast Asia’s leading startups headquartered in Indonesia, today announced to hire up to 100 more engineers for its technology division, Go-Jek Engineering, in Bengaluru.

This is in line with the company’s plans to expand its technology capabilities and build on the successful mobility platform in Indonesia.

While the company’s main focus is product development, Go-Jek will be hiring to fill very specific roles across the technology platform, including full-stack engineers, data scientists, designers and product managers.

Although Go-Jek operates in a fully-distributed model, with teams working on projects across India, Singapore and Indonesia, the company has increasingly turned to the Indian market for high-quality engineering talent. In 2016, Go-Jek acquired four companies, including Pune-based mobile application developer Leftshift, Bengaluru-based startup Pianta, C42 Engineering and CodeIgnition.

Update 1, 16:45, Monday: The earlier version of this post included the news regarding the appointment of Shivani Chaturvedi as the Chief People’s Officer at mjunction. Due to some internal structural changes at the company, we have removed this news.
