POKKT, India & SEA’s based smartphone advertising platform for mobile games has strengthened its leadership team with several key additions. The company has announced the appointment of Siddharth Kelkar as Vice President & Business Head of Performance Advertising, Shrikant Rajemahadik as Global Head, Publisher Acquisition, Wayne Li as General Manager, Programmatic in Singapore and David Zenna as General Manager, Programmatic Sales in the USA.

POKKT’s latest move comes close on heels of the appointment of Abdul Wahab as its Vice President & Global Head, Delivery. POKKT is looking to build on its robust in-app advertising business, which has registered concomitant growth in line with the rise of the casual gaming space in India and Southeast Asia.

InnoVen Capital Appoints Chin Chao As Interim CEO For India Operations

InnoVen Capital has appointed Chin Chao, Chief Executive Officer of InnoVen, Singapore and Southeast Asia, as the interim CEO for its India operations.

The appointment will be effective immediately, even as the board continues the search process for a permanent CEO, which it hopes to complete over the next quarter.

Chin Chao’s appointment comes a month after Ajay Hattangadi and Vinod Murali quit as CEO and deputy CEO respectively to start their own venture debt firm, as reported by ET in June.

Chin Chao has over 15 years of experience in the venture-capital and venture-debt space and will lead the group’s business in India, in addition to Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Ather Energy Hires Sunitha Lal As Head of Human Resources

Ather Energy, the smart electric two-wheeler startup, has announced the appointment of Sunitha Lal as the Head of Human Resources. Sunitha’s immediate focus will be on defining the culture at Ather as they scale up towards production and delivery of their first product, the S340.

This comes in as another addition to senior industry veteran hires that Ather has seen over the past few months which include Venki Padmanabhan as COO & Thiruppathy Srinivasan as VP of Vehicle Development.

Sunitha comes with 20+ years of experience across all HR verticals. She is a strong coach and has a significant background in organisational & leadership development, performance & coaching systems & frameworks.

In her early career stints, Sunitha had been associated with firms such as AIG Systems Solutions and Mphasis.

An alumnus of Madurai Kamaraj University, Sunitha took over as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Matrimony.com, in 2012. As CHRO she was involved in organisation-wide decision making to shape business agenda on performance & growth. Sunitha played a key role in identifying, developing and implementing organisation effectiveness and change management initiatives.
