AdvantEdge Partners Appoints Ridhish Talwar To Head Incubator Programme

Leading early-stage venture capital fund advantEdge Partners announced the appointment of Ridhish Tawlar as Head of its Incubator Program earlier today.

In his new role, Ridhish will be responsible for identifying new startups for the programme while simultaneously creating an industry-leading ecosystem of mentors, partners, and business linkages for supporting the incubated startups.

Ridhish has rich experience in entrepreneurship and earlier cofounded a gaming brand called The Shark, which pioneered the development of poker in India, resulting in a successful alliance with leading online portal Adda52. He later co-founded EasyLaw to offer standardised legal services to clients in India.

FreeCharge Appoints Mayank Kapoor As New HR Head

Digital payments platform FreeCharge, announced the appointment of Mayank Kapoor as its new head of Human Resources vertical. Mayank who was previously leading the Learning and Development portfolio at Snapdeal has more than 16 years of experience in people development, behavioural& leadership training, talent management & transformation across Hospitality, IT, Telecommunication and e-Commerce industries.

In the new role, Mayank will leverage on his previous experience to nurture and develop a strong talent pipeline commensurate with FreeCharge’s journey of becoming India’s leading digital payments service provider.

Mayank is a post graduate from XLRI, Jamshedpur specializing in Human Resource Management and is a Hotel Management graduate from IHM, Pusa, New Delhi. He holds globally renowned certifications like Human Resource Management Professional (HRMP), SHRM – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM – SCP) & Harvard Future Leaders Program (Harvard Business School).

RackNap Appoints Guruprit Ahuja As CEO, Sabarinathan Sampath New COO

RackNap, a unified cloud service delivery and business automation platform, has announced the appointment of Guruprit Ahuja (Ex-Director of Sales – Middle-East & Africa, Acronis) and Sabarinathan Sampath (Ex- Cloud Director, Ingram Micro) in its leadership team as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer respectively. Both Guruprit and Sabarinathan have held leadership positions in key organisations over a number of years.

Guruprit has 25 years of experience in cloud computing platforms, data center services, and software solutions. And in his career, before Acronis, has held the position of Sales Director of South East Asia, India, and Korea at Parallels (now Odin), and as Business Lead – web hosting and cloud at Microsoft.

Sabarinathan has over 18 years of experience in the IT and cloud industry, having served as Director – Professional Services at Ingram Micro Cloud (Odin), prior to joining RackNap. Before Odin, he has also held various roles as Head of Service Assurance and Programme Management Office, working for Hostopia, National Health Service and Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Anshumani Ruddra, Ex-VP of Product At Practo Joins CueMath

Anshumani Ruddra, ex-VP of Product at Practo has joined Delhi-based edtech startup CueMath, run by CueLearn as its Chief Product Officer. Founded in 2013 by  Manan Khurma and  Jagjit Khurma, CueLearn, provides after-school learning programmes for mathematics, with a unique distribution model: tapping the incremental efforts of women and senior citizens with basic academic backgrounds (but limited or no teaching credentials).

Prior to joining Practo as VP of Product Design,  Anshumani worked at Zynga as the lead game designer and later started his own game studio called Tiny Mogul Games in Bangalore (now known as Hike games). He has graduated in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
