Narendra Bhandari Joins Kratos Advisory Board
Developer evangelist, Narendra Bhandari has joined the Advisory Board of Kratos, a mobile adtech startup based out of Bengaluru. In his new role, he will advise the company on its product, technology as well as business roadmaps. He will further guide the team on business and technical alliances that they should be working on.
Narendra was with Intel for 23 years and has recently joined Microsoft India, as General Manager (Developer Experience and Evangelism).
Kratos has its development centre in Bengaluru, and marketing & sales offices in Mumbai and Delhi. Over the next three years, Kratos plans to expand aggressively in the Southeast Asian Market, followed by Australia, US,and Europe.
GiftXOXO hires Vishal Kumar, Co-founder of Hey Bob
Experiential gifting and rewards platform GiftXOXO, has hired Hey Bob co-founder Vishal Kumar BM as their Sales Lead for special projects. He will focus on driving sales and growing business through strategic sales functions. Vishal comes with over 10 years of experience in brand management and marketing.
His role at GiftXOXO will be critical for the growth of their Long Service Awards programme that revolves around retaining employees for a longer period and recognising people who have given long years of service to the company.
He was earlier the co-founder at Hey Bob, a bike taxi service startup that had operations in Mumbai and Bangalore. He has also worked with retail giants such as Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Vision Express, and Reliance Centre to name a few.
Faircent Names Dr. Shakti Goel As Chief of Product and Technology
Peer-to-peer lending marketplace, Faircent.com announced the appointment of Dr. Shakti Goel as their Chief of Product and Technology. Dr. Goel’s deep domain knowledge of financial markets and banking is further expected to accelerate the growth momentum of the company.
Dr. Goel is a technologist with a more than 20-year track record of leveraging technology-based solutions to drive business growth.
A doctorate from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), and an IIT Delhi graduate, Dr. Goel has worked across geographies in companies like Oracle Corp, Fidelity, Raytheon, State Street Corp, and HCL Info-systems in US and India.
Razorpay Appoints Former OnePlus Marketing Head Karan Sarin As CMO
Online payments platform Razorpay has appointed Karan Sarin as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Karan, who most recently served as the Head of Marketing for OnePlus India, will now focus on building Razorpay’s brand, nationally & globally, generating customer demand, planning strategic events and designing the company’s communication strategy.
In the past, Saran was a Director at Flipkart, where he built their Gift Cards & B2B business from ground-up. Before that, Karan founded Perkylane, an enterprise software (SaaS) company that provided on-demand employee benefits solution to more than 30 million small and medium-sized companies in India.
In a career spanning close to 14 years, Karan has had a broad set of experiences in the tech industry across marketing, sales, and various leadership roles. Earlier this year, the Internet & Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) awarded Karan the ‘Digital Marketer of the Year’ award.
