Amazon’s Raghu Lakkapragada Joins Voonik

Raghu Lakkapragada has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer at Voonik. He will be responsible for delivery operations and seller and customer experience. He formerly worked with Amazon India and was responsible for seller-fulfilled business verticals, where he created and grew Amazon Easy Ship. He has earlier worked with Vooonik founder Sujayath Ali at Amazon for seven years. He holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business.

Former Google & Amazon Exec Joins Housing

Vivek Jain has joined online real estate platform Housing.com as Chief Product & Technology officer. As part of his role, he will focus on strengthening the product and engineering aspects of the business. Prior to joining Housing, he was the CEO of CA Media Digital (owned by The Chernin Group and private equity firm KKR) where his focus was to grow the company’s digital service portfolio and various consumer facing businesses in New Media. Vivek is an industry veteran with over 14 years of experience in the technology and digital domains in India and the US. He has also been part of Motorola Mobility, a division of Google and Amazon where he was the Business Head for the Amazon Web Services.

Two More Top Executives Quit Myntra

Prasad Kompalli, head of commerce, and Abhishek Verma, who led the fashion brands vertical have quit Flipkart owned Myntra. According to media speculations, Prasad will take on an advisory role from October while Abhishek will be replaced by a senior retail industry executive in September.
