Shuttl Appoints Suryansh Kumar As VP Growth

Shuttl has appointed Suryansh Kumar as VP Growth. Prior to joining Shuttl, he was the General Manager at Uber India, where he was responsible for the company’s operations and marketing. At Shuttl, he will be responsible for providing seamless transportation solution to commuters. Suryansh is an IIT-Bombay and Indian School of Business alumni and has a decade of experience in working with companies such as Bharat Matrimony and Bharti Walmart.

Reliance Entertainment And Business Head Quits

Kushal Sanghvi, business head of Reliance Entertainment & Digital, a part of Reliance ADAG has put down his papers. He joined Reliance ADAG in January 2014 and has founded digital agencies World Wide Open, Span Digital and Spider Digital. Sanghvi, an alumnus of Narsee Monjee Institute Management Science, was earlier managing director of Havas Digital – South Asia. He was head of business intelligence at Reliance ADAG from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, he has worked with Adlabs Films, Times Group, Indian Express Group, Rediff.com, and Harvest Media.

Dentsu Webchutney Promotes Tanvi Jain

Dentsu Webchutney announced the promotion of Tanvi Jain to senior vice president and branch head – Delhi. Prior to this, Tanvi was vice president at Dentsu Digital. As part of her new mandate, she will be responsible for acquiring new clients apart from taking the lead in servicing the existing clients. She will also be responsible for revenue growth from the region and will continue to report to Sidharth Rao, chief executive officer and co-founder, Dentsu Webchutney. Tanvi began her career with event management in 2003 and went on to work for agencies such as Dentsu Webchutney, Isobar and Sapient Nitro. Some of the clients that Tanvi has worked on include Microsoft, ICICI, Adidas, MasterCard ME, Canon, Hitachi, Frito Lays, Coca-Cola.

Micromax CEO Vineet Taneja Resigns

Vineet Taneja, CEO of Micromax Informatics Ltd, has put in his papers. According to reports, differences between Taneja and the company’s promoters has been cited as one of the major reasons for his resignation. Taneja had joined Micromax in May 2014. With over 25 years of experience, he has earlier worked with brands such as Hindustan Lever (HLL), Nokia and Bharti Airtel. He holds a degree in engineering from IIT-Roorkee and is also an alumnus of IIM Kolkata.
