Jatin Bery To Set Up JB Capital, An Investment Firm Focussed On Exits

Head of Corporate Development at InfoEdge, Jatin Bery is moving on to set up JB CAPITAL, a boutique advisory and alternative investment firm. A former investment banker, Bery led the investments and M&A arm at InfoEdge and was part of the Senior Leadership team.

Under his tenure, InfoEdge invested in various successful startups that include Zomato, PolicyBazaar and Happily Unmarried.

Jatin completed his schooling from The Doon School in India, followed by a B.A (Honours) Economics degree from St. Stephen’s College, India. Jatin also holds an MSc in Corporate and International Finance from Durham University, UK and an MBA from the International Management Institute, India.

Apttus Hires New GMs and Head Of Engineering For India

Apttus, a firm that provides quote-to-cash and contract lifecycle management solutions utilising artificial intelligence, has announced the addition of Ashish M. Shah as General Manager and Nikesh Jain as Head of Engineering to its expanding India operations.

Additionally, the company has promoted Jesal Mehta to a global role of General Manager, Contract Lifecycle Management.

Ashish M. Shah will lead day-to-day functions of Apttus India while supporting strategic initiatives as a member of the corporate executive team. Shah brings more than 25 years of international experience in the technology industry. He has been a part of the healthcare industry since ages. He has a specialisation in electrical engineering from The Bradley University and has completed undergraduate studies in the same discipline from Gujrat University.

On the other hand, Nikesh Jain brings more than 20 years of experience in building and developing scalable, complex software platforms at high-growth technology companies. Before joining Apttus, Jain was vice president of engineering at Icertis, an enterprise contract management provider. Previously, he served as Director of Engineering at Ariba Technologies. Jain has held engineering roles at Yahoo!, AOL and Oracle.
