Revant Bhate, an entrepreneur in residence at food delivery firm Faasos is joining Kalaari Capital’s seed-funding initiative Kstart as a partner. As per reports, he will focus on investments and is expected to join Kstart later this month. Bhate had served in various capacities at Faasos since 2012, and his appointment comes after two other partners at Kalaari Capital left the Bengaluru-based venture capital firm earlier last month.

Ecom Express Appoints Saurabh Deep Singla As Senior VP & CHRO
Ecom Express, a New Delhi-based end-to-end logistics solutions provider for ecommerce industry has appointed Saurabh Deep Singla as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). He will be a member of the Company’s executive team reporting to Ecom Express’ Founders and will be operating from the Company’s Head Quarters in New Delhi.
Saurabh joins Ecom Express with over 19 years of human resource leadership experience across dispersed organisations at country and global level. Most recently, Saurabh served as Head HR and IR for MSS and ESS Business for G4S Services India, a leading global integrated security company. Previously, he was with Rio Tinto Group, Yum! Brands, Whirlpool and Bharti group.
In this new position, Saurabh will have direct responsibility for the Company’s people strategy including talent acquisition, talent development and building organizational capability to further support Ecom Express’ growth.
Mobikwik’s Marketing Head Quits To Launch His Own Venture
Akash Gupta, Vice President – Marketing for Mobikwik, has resigned from his position at MobiKwik. The former Marketing Head of Mobikwik would now be venturing into the Green Tech Space. The startup is aimed at curbing the rising pollution levels in urban cities, while simultaneously promoting healthier lifestyles amongst urban-dwellers.
Akash has been associated with Mobikwik for over two years. Joined as the General Manager, Akash grew to become the Vice President of Marketing, owing to his knack for infusing ROI-oriented marketing programs and strategies. Leading both, online and offline marketing functions of MobiKwik from the front, Akash has been instrumental in the emergence of Mobikwik as one amongst the leading players in digital and consumer Fintech payments in India. Under his leadership, MobiKwik grew from 25 Mn users to 65 Mn+ users now.
Having previously associated with tech and e-commerce giants like Airtel, Dell and Snapdeal, Akash Gupta has proven track-record for optimising ROI and user acquisitions.
HouseJoy Appoints Bhaskar Raju Konduru As CTO
Housejoy has roped in successful entrepreneur and technological evangelist Bhaskar Raju Konduru as their new Chief Technology Officer. Bhaskar has an enviable pedigree as one of the founding members of the popular travel app Redbus.in and a co-founder of HelloClass.
Bhaskar is known for his domain knowledge spanning across various technological spheres such as designing different products from scratch, Cloud Services, BigData, Role-Based access control (RBAC) implementation, and more.
In his new role, Bhaskar is expected to create a strong technological backbone for Housejoy and help the brand in their quest for building a stellar team.
Hotify Appoints Preethi Narayanan As President AI Services
Bengaluru-based AI solutions provider Hotify has appointed Preethi Narayanan as President AI Services. Preethi, a veteran of building and setting up Product & Services functions for large enterprises, will now embody Hotify’s mission of increasing AI adoption in the enterprise, towards accelerating the development of intelligent systems.
Prior to joining Hotify, Preethi has spent over three years as CEO of India Operations at Invigor Group.
She brings with her over 25 years of rich experience and innate business acumen across Retail, Supply chain and Healthcare domains.
She has demonstrated exceptional drive in her prior roles that include Director-Product Centre of Excellence at iSOFT (CSC), and Technical Project Manager at Staples, USA.
DocOnline Appoints Sai Prasad Chakilam As Its CTO
Hyderabad based DocOnline, a virtual platform that provides access to doctor consulting services has appointed Sai Prasad Chakilam as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with immediate effect.
Sai Chakilam brings with him over 20 years of technology and leadership experience with a track record of leading the growth of technology platforms. Earlier, he was associated as the Vice President at Value Labs where he led and managed cross functional projects, Design and architect solutions.
In his new role, Sai will wear the mandate of ensuring the DocOnline platform continues to run on cutting edge technology while also making it consumable from a user’s perspective.
