We bring to you the latest edition of movers and shakers of the week in the Indian startup ecosystem.

2020 has been harsh for everyone with a lot of companies shutting shop, letting go of people, and restrategising to survive the storm.

However, despite facing a loss in revenue post the lockdown, online travel ecommerce company Ixigo didn’t lay off any of its employees. In a candid chat with Inc42, the company’s founder Rajnish Kumar told that they followed a two-pronged strategy to handle the crisis. First, they didn’t let go of any of its employees, and secondly, they bolstered the customer experience team as there would be so many calls of users to cancel or reschedule their flight and train bookings.

The company also refunded all affected customers who had booked tickets for domestic and international trips but could not make it due to lockdowns.
