Zomato Appoints Rohithari Rajan As Its New Global Head

Zomato has appointed Rohithari Rajan as its Global Head of Ad Sales Business.

Prior to this, Rohithari was a principal at Bain & Company. He has worked for Hindustan Unilever for six years, United Nations Development Programme in New York and had developed a toolkit for pro-poor business models to deliver development goals in low-income regions.

Rohithari has completed MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and completed graduation in economics from the Delhi University. He is also authored a short novel based named IIM-Ganjdundwara.

Zomato will be strengthening Ad sales business globally after the latest appointment. It has already expanded its services to Surat, Vizag, Bhopal, and Bhubaneswar this month.

CoWorks Appoints Its New CFO

CoWorks has appointed Abhishek Goenka as its new Chief Financial Officer.

With his finance background, Abhishek Goenka will also play the role of Chief Investment Officer.

Prior to this, he has worked with leading consulting firms like PwC, EY, Andersen and BMR Advisors. Further, he has dabbled in the areas of financial planning, financial structuring, fund raising, investments, taxation and corporate reorganisation.

CoWrks envisions to establish 23 operational centres spread over 2.5 Mn sq. ft. and expand the community to over 25,000 members. The company further aims to increase their presence in major Indian cities – Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi–NCR, Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad and foray into international markets.

Intellect Design Arena Appoints Janet Thomas As Its New CEO

Intellect Design Arena has appointed Janet Thomas as its new chief executive officer for the capital markets business.

Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of Infinity Capital Partners and Founder and CEO of TouchFX. He has over 20 years of experience in the banking sector.

Thomas has worked at Bank of America, Citigroup and ABN Amro and is a member of the Panel of Experts of the Hague-based Panel of Recognized International Market Experts in Finance.

Intellect has plans to take their high performing Digital Treasury and Capital Alpha products to the European markets and have Janet Thomas onboard after the extensive search as the CEO of Capital Markets comes at the perfect time.
