MeraEvents Inks Deal Worth Of $10 Mn Transactions With Percept Live For End-to-End Event Technology Solution

India’s event listing, promotion and ticketing platform, MeraEvents has announced their partnership with media and communications firm, Percept Live Pvt. The deal size is  approximately $10 Mn worth of transactions on company’s platform.

Percept Live holds the IP for Sunburn, which is among India’s top Music Festival. It also has multiple properties like Fly, WindSong, Bollywood, FightNight, and Champions of the world in different genres.

According to the partnership, MeraEvents will offer end-to-end event technology solutions, for managing the online and offline ticketing, ground management of entry of attendees at upcoming events of Percept Live across India.

The company would extend its support through digital marketing with its exclusive teams and promote the events on digital platform to reach a wider audience and enhance their existing brand visibility to the next level and ensure increased ticket sales.

Speaking on this partnership, Naidu Darapaneni, Founder and CEO of MeraEvents said, “We were constantly working towards improving our capabilities to manage ticketing and ground operations of entry of attendees of such large events. Now time has come for us to join hands with large companies and showcase our leadership in managing the ticketing and related technologies. The company says that this tie-up will enhance their brand visibility, especially in the entertainment sector across India as well as globally. It looks forward to a stronger association with such companies who can give us a strong foothold in the entertainment and sports sectors.

The company is also planning to go global by opening up of offices in USA, Europe, Middle East and Singapore in the next six months. The company is present in all the major cities in India and now will open offices in Goa, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Jaipur.

MeraEvents.com connects organizers, delegates, and service providers from across the country seamlessly. The platform offers smart solutions and customized marketing packages to event organizers. Last year, the company has raised $1 Mn from OMICS international.

Currently, the company is touching close to INR 3 Cr. worth of transactions per month and in Dec’2014, it was INR 3.5 Cr. per month. Back in April/May’2014, the company was doing INR 50 Lakh per month and by September it had touched INR 2 Cr. per month.
