Here Are The Five Startups Showcased At Microsoft’s Tech Summit

At the Future Decoded Tech Summit in Bengaluru, Microsoft India, on Tuesday (February 25), showcased five startups which are using its cloud services and other Microsoft for Startups offerings. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, who is on a three-day India visit, was at the summit, where the five startups were in the spotlight.

Microsoft has been partnering with many Indian startups to fuel their growth by providing them with its technical support and expertise. Under the Microsoft for Startups programme, the company is also providing them with joint sales opportunities as well.

Earlier this week, Microsoft launched its 100X100X100 programme for software-as-a-service (SaaS) startups in India. The launch of this programme coincides with Nadella’s arrival in India. In a statement, Microsoft said the company is working to create new startup community spaces which will promote the collaboration between Indian startups and the global tech ecosystem.

Here are the selected startups showcased at the Future Decoded Tech Summit:

• ElasticRun

Pune-based ElasticRun is building an asset-light, app-driven, logistics and distribution company. The startup offers services to industries across pharmaceutical, online retail, food products, automotive and hospitality sectors. It offers an AI-powered platform that offers capacity planning, real-time order matching, and automated order collection.

• Spektacom

Founders: Anil Kumble
Category: Sportstech
Founded Year: 2017
Headquarters: Bengaluru

Spektacom provides trends and patterns related to sports and is founded by legendary Indian cricketer Anil Kumble. Spektacom’s signature product ‘Power Bat’ leverages technologies such as machine learning, IoT and online cloud to provide real-time analytics and data management capabilities.

• Bizongo

Founders: Aniket Deb, Sachin Agrawal and Ankit Tomar

Founded Year: 2015
Headquarters: Mumbai

Bizongo is a B2B online marketplace offering industry packaging supplies for sectors such as ecommerce, retail, restaurant and hospitality, FMCG, industrial logistics, food and beverage. The Mumbai-based raised $30 Mn Series C round led by Switzerland-based hedge fund Schroder Adveq in January.

• Sun Mobility

Founders: Chetan Maini

Sun Mobility is working with fleet operators, shared mobility providers, and automotive OEMs across all platforms including 2/3 wheelers, cars and buses to challenge the status quo of EVs with an economical, scalable and smarter solution forward.

• Bionic Yantra

Founders: Shiva Nagarajan

Founded Year: 2017
Headquarters: Bengaluru

Medical robotic startup Bionic enables rehabilitation of patients recovering from various ailments and injuries. It has developed a wearable robotic exoskeleton to help patients walk. Using IoT and ML, Bionic Yantra enables data trails for tracking progress achieved and predicting patient recovery.
