Meet The Winners Of StartupPulse Bangalore Who Will Get A Chance To Pitch To 15 Angels!

Finally, after making huge success in Delhi and Mumbai StartupPulse,today reached reached Bangalore, India’s Silicon Valley. The city which is the home of numerous startups, we received hundreds of applications and hand picked a few. After going through 200+ startup applications, we shortlisted top 11 startups.

These selected 11 startups went through day long mentoring sessions taken by mentors from different domains i.e. Marketing, Technology, UI/UX, Sales, Fundraising. The mentors, that were present during the event included Sairam Krishnan (ex-Freshdesk), B.K Birla of AskLaila, Phanindra Sama (of Redbus and Angel investor), Santosh Panda of Explara, Gaurav from Amazon, who provided one-on-one mentoring sessions to these startups.

Based on the mentor feedback, Jury selected the top 5 startups, who will get a chance to pitch to group of 15 angel investors on 15th April.

Here are the the top five startups:

Zify

Founders: Anurag Rathor, Pramod Kumar

Launch Date: February 2014

Zify is a web & mobile enabled dynamic ride-sharing service. It’s a social platform connecting car-owners with passengers who are looking for a comfortable and affordable ride alternative for their daily commute.

Instano

Founders: Rakesh Krishna Andey, Rajesh Ranjan, Vedant Agarwala

Launch Date: December 2014

Instano is an app which helps you go to virtual shopping and even bargain virtually. All you have to do it search for products, get quotes for the same and voila you are good to go to the right shop. Not only this the app provides sorting shops on the basis of products and brand specific searches as well. The app also provides retailers to be enlisted on its platform.

Constapark

Founders: Chetan Chauhan, Mehul Pangtey

Launch Date: 2013

Constapark is a parking solution which  provides information of nearest available parking and allows user to book parking in advance, using integrated booking engine, which means no more hunting for parking you just need drive to the designated parking space. Constapark saves your time.

Witworks

Founders:  Somnath Meher, Ankit D P, Chandrashekhar Iyer

Launch Date: Oct 2011

Witworks is a collaborative invention company, which designs and sells consumer products created by its online community. It has launched of two new products i.e.Trippy and Scrubbl.

Former is a wifi enabled audio streaming device and latter is a handheld electronic device which makes it easy to wash utensils and that to without having to touch them. It is like Kickstarter of India.

Yourdost

Founders: Richa Singh, Satyajeet Nandekar, Puneet Manuja

Launch Date: November 2014

D.O.S.T is a virtual emotional support system where users can be completely anonymous and vent out their feelings to special friends consisting of compassionate psychologists and others.

It also lets users privately discuss their  problems with special friends, explore self help and engage with others going through tough times on discussion forums.

Jumkey

Launch Date: October 2014

Jumkey is a one stop shop for all your jewellery needs. It enlists jewellery from designers to customers pan India. Calling it an online jewellery marketplace is not enough. The startup has created its own brand by the name of  JumkeyGirl. It is an ecosystem for customers who can discover all types of jewellery and it is a big ALL.

CouchPotatoz

Founders: Anuj Agarwal, Anurag Trivedi

Launch Date: December 2014

CouchPotatoz is an online groceries delivery startup which lets user shop required groceries online and get them delivered within an hour. The company aims to simplifies day to day grocery shopping experience by resolving two major problems in grocery shopping – Where to get the best quality & How to get things, without hassles, just when the need arises.

MobiTexter

Founders: Devashish Mamgain

Launch Date: February 2015

If you fumble using your phone’s keyboard and use a full keyboard like a breeze, MobiTexter is for you. It lets you pair your phone with your google account and using their website you can text using your computer’s keyboard. It also lets users schedule messages, multi-device texting and even self destructing messages.

HeyLeela

Founders: Ajay Mathew

Launch Date: April 2015

Heyleela is an online fashion portal which knows its ways to keep up with every changing fashion. It provides users with a heavy dose of fashion where they are alerted about a sale. It has a tinder like UI where users have to swipe right if they like the item and left otherwise.

Poolcircle

Founders: Raghu Ramanujam

Launch Date: N/A

With rise in carpooling services there has been a rise in doubts related to the safety of such arrangement as well.The startup is building a social network that allows users to carpool with people they can trust, colleagues, neighbors and online connections. It allows the user to aggregate their various network of connections, or “Circles”. Users can choose to carpool with any combination of these circle.

99atoms

Founders: Pruthviraj Gowda, Harsha M Vantagudi

Launch Date: 2014

’99atoms’ is a futuristic event coordination platform which is built for event coordinators. It replaces traditional event planning approach of using multiple tools to plan events with a simple App. Now event coordinators can manage their events real time, stay in sync with their team, track finances, organize all their documents under one roof
