Meet The 24 Startups That Got Shortlisted At TiECON Kolkata

In a bid to promote entrepreneurship in the eastern part of the country, TieCON Kolkata, earlier this week, shortlisted 24 startups to present their ideas to angel investors and venture capitalists at its recently concluded summit.

Out of these 24 startups, 16 are based out of Kolkata. Other locations from where the startups were shortlisted include Bengaluru, Mumbai, Assam, Manipur, and Odisha.

Here are the shortlisted startups

• Ezy Mov

Ezy Mov provides wheelchair taxi and mobility aids for people who require special care in mobility. The startup runs a fleet of wheelchair accessible vehicles retrofitted with hydraulic wheelchair lifts and wheelchair restraint systems.

• Majdoor Mera Naam

Majdoor Mera Naam is an online labour aggregating platform through which the startup provides work to daily wage earners. As of now, the startup has registered over 300 labours on their platform.

• MasterMentors

MasterMentors provides an online platform to help users learn and gain expertise in professions such as tattoo making, dancing, fitness, among others. On the other hand, it helps professionals to produce video lessons for their students. The company has already tied-up with fitness expert Kaizzad Capadia and tattoo artist Sameer Patange as mentors on the platform.

• Medilane Healthtech and Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd
