Google India, on Tuesday (September 22), released the list of startups for the fourth batch of Google for Startups Accelerator India programme. This year, the tech giant shortlisted 20 Indian startups after screening 600 applicants that will receive three months mentorship and support from its network of internal and external mentors.

The ongoing support ranges from access to Google teams, tech guidance on projects, machine learning related support, UX and design mentorship, leadership workshops, networking opportunities at industry engagements, PR support and more.

In a blog, Google said that the current batch comprises startups across key areas such as education, retail, mental health and wellness, healthtech, fintech and agritech and more.

The 20 Indian startups selected to be a part of the programme include Antwak, BharatAri, BlackLight Games, Decoder, Factors.ai, Foxy.in, Gram Powder, InnerHour, Leher, Lokal, Math Buddy, Mera Cashier, Mosaic Wellness, myHQ, Navia Life Care, Orowealth, Virohan, Wellthy Therapeutics, Womaniya, and Zeo Auto.

AntWak provides a video platform for elearning service.

  1.   BharatAgri

Founder: Sai Gole and Siddharth Dialani

Founded in: 2017 

Sector:  Agritech

BharatAgri provides end-to-end decision making support for farmers. 

  1.   BlackLight Games

This startup offers multiplayer classic games on mobile platforms.

Dcoder is a mobile-first coding platform that lets anyone code from their smartphones in 35 programming languages.

This app is said to be a platform for Indian women to connect and talk about pregnancy and other daily issues with support for Hindi language

   Founders: Kshitij Dixit, Nimit Mehra, Ritesh Singh

    Founded in: 2019

     Sector: Mobility

   The platform aims to provide shortest routes for individual drivers, courier companies and independent businesses.

Since 2015, GFS Accelerator has mentored more than 600 startups and accelerated over 60, which have collectively gone on to raise over $700 Mn in funding, the company said in a blog.
