Google India has selected 20 startups as part of its second cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator Women Founders initiative.

Google India received more than 300 applications for its accelerator programme. The initiative will offer mentorship, advice to the selected women-led startups and support to these ventures in hiring talent and tapping networking opportunities.

The three-month-long programme will target startups from all sectors, including, but not limited to, healthcare, education, finance, and ecommerce.

“The Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders program is designed to enable women entrepreneurs in India who are using technology to solve complex problems and are making a  positive impact on society…,” said the program manager for Google for Startups Accelerator (India), Paul Ravindranath G.
