From Amazon’s drone deliveries to robots running factories and the changing face of lifestyle thanks to technology to the everyday hustle and bustle in the startup ecosystem — there’s always something new cooking in the world of technology. That’s the premise of ‘The Outline’, helping Inc42+ members stay informed about everything that matters in technology, business and startups landscape.

The Outline is our weekly tête-à-tête with Inc42+ members, and we are starting with a short preview window of six editions (four done and two to go) as a token of our love and appreciation for those who have stayed with us through all these years. It was just a taste of things to come — in our platter of offerings under our Inc42+membership programme, which we launched at the end of February.

To begin with, The Outline will bring you a glimpse of the week gone by (or the week ahead) with all the ups and downs, weekly reflections and summaries, beyond just a simple recap, with provocative insights and deep narratives.

So let’s just be clear — The Outline is not just our musings on the hot topics of the week, but backed by thoughtful commentary on the ecosystem, a clear and balanced take on the issues that matter in technology and full of inventive phrase, and witty narration — the likes of which India’s ever-evolving millennial audience expects these days. 😉

Each week, we take on a new theme and build with a unique look and feel. The first edition had a red and white theme as we delved into love and what it means in the third decade of the 21st century. We just wanted to tap the vibe and mood of Valentine’s week, which is big business, whether one believes it or not.

Last week, we spoke about the big tech companies slowly circling the Indian market, for the biggest piece of the pie, while also fighting India’s protectionist measures and, of course, the visit of Donald Trump to cap it off. As coronavirus threatens China’s manufacturing, is India the new big destination for tech companies?

Earlier this week (March 8), we celebrated International Women’s Day with a look at how technology has created biases against women. We delved into how the data economy has failed to meaningfully involve women in the next phase of the development of the internet.

Who knows what colours and ideas we get to work with later this week? But just like life, there are some things you can truly count on in each version of The Outline.

Each week, we will be presenting the major headlines as well as our unique take on the ecosystem through stats and figures. And Inc42+ members will also get a glimpse of the week’s special stories as well as member-exclusive content.

And this is just the beginning, we will be adding many more sections such as Future Past, Deja Vu, The Disappearing Act, Origin Story and more. All will be revealed in due time, exclusively for Inc42+ Members in the weeks ahead.

Let us know in the comments or maybe reply to our next email by signing up now. Curious about what we have planned for the next edition? Join The Outline community by subscribing and we’ll make sure we’ll send you each edition.
