Here we bring you a live feed of the trip right from some of the people part of the Innotrek journey. Follow it below:

Did you know that India is the fourth largest base in the world for startups, with over 800 startups being set up annually? One can easily hear the buzzing of a very active beehive, as ideas are being traded, discussed, developed and fostered in the Indian startup ecosystem faster than ever before.

After having given an excellent platform to IT companies in India for many years, NASSCOM has brought about yet another revolution in the Indian startup ecosystem through InnoTrek, an initiative that was launched last year under NASSCOM 10,000 Startups.

While 25 companies had been selected as part of the InnoTrek delegation in 2014, 39 companies have made the cut so far this year. The initiative has received a big ‘thumbs-up’ from the industry and participants alike, and is only going to get bigger and better with every passing year.

An intense and immersive week-long bootcamp for startups in the largest tech hub of the world – Silicon Valley, InnoTrek seeks to foster entrepreneurship, build entrepreneurial capabilities, and strengthen early stage support for tech startups so they can grow into successful global businesses. It aims to curate the most innovative and disruptive Indian tech startups, from diverse domains and showcase their capabilities on a global platform.

That’s not all, it offers these startups a rare opportunity to closely interact with global business leaders and the investor fraternity, whereby they can explore opportunities to collaborate and synergize their efforts and become truly global players. Initiatives like InnoTrek will not only support current startups in India by facilitating them in scaling up their operations, but will also encourage more people to join the league.
