India Internet Day (IID) 2014 is ready to host its third edition on April 4th, 2013. One of the biggest leadership conferences in India. IID is a platform to promote entrepreneurship and startup culture by engaging in a series of discussions, conferences, and panel discussions between successful entrepreneurs and interested professionals.
This year, IID plans to focus on mapping and analyzing the global internet industry and understanding it’s trend in an uniquely Indian context. The forum will host people from all over India to educate and explore the changing internet economy and its potential opportunities.
IID 2014 will be presided over by experts selected from different specialisations. At the center stage will be the opening keynote by VSS Mani– MD and CEO, JustDial and an exclusive keynote by the Head of AsiaPac TMT Investment Banking, MD Deutsch Bank, Joaquin Rodriguez Torres. Other important speakers include Gautam Gandhi, Managing Director of Google India; Sachin Bansal, founder of Flipkart and Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder, One97 & PayTM.
IID 2014 already promises to showcase, interact and determine the emerging internet market culture by allowing global internet players to connect with an interested audience. Issues slated for discussion are: building great businesses on a shoestring, mobile payment, companies pushing boundaries to build scale and personal brands in social media, emarketing for political brands, policy, scaling up, funding / exits, marketing and personnel. The event will be attended by founders, co-founders and CEOs of all the major companies in India.
With a greater reach and impact, IID 2014 is expected to be more influential and attractive than the previous episodes.
TiE is a non-profit trade group whose objective is to promote and aid entrepreneurship. With 61 chapters across 17 countries, TiE has emerged as one of the most successful groups in the network by drawing in stakeholders and fostering entrepreneurship.
