TiE Delhi – NCR has announced the fifth edition of India Internet Day (iDay2016), one of the most influential leadership conferences of the Internet industry in India.

In 2015 and the beginning of 2016, many startups faced the heat. Amidst drying funds, many startups were forced to shutdown or lay off their employees to cut cost.

Analysing this scenario, iDay 2016 has decided to theme the conference as: “Emerging from the Froth”, that will focus on building and scaling businesses sustainably.

iDay will provide a set of tools and perspectives to entrepreneurs to focus on the fundamentals in order to build strong core businesses. It will share insights about customer relationship management, changing models of growth in Entrepreneur 2020, new efficient ways of marketing in the mobile marketing workshop, and benchmarking against successful scaled companies.

India Internet Day facilitates a platform to promote entrepreneurship and startup culture by engaging in a series of discussions, conferences, and panel discussions between successful entrepreneurs and interested professionals. It is designed to deliver powerful content and showcase the possibilities which Internet holds for the present and the future.

This year’s speakers include luminaries such as Sachin Bansal of Flipkart, Kashyap Deorah author of Golden Tap, Deepak Abbot of Times Internet, Karan Mohla of IDG Ventures, Ravi Adusumalli of SAIF Partners, Vijay Shekhar Sharma of Paytm among others. They will share insights on how they are building strong companies while navigating through global competition and the changed financing environment.

Interesting Sessions

• iDay has a very special session “Food for Thought”, one of the most valuable features in terms of the takeaway for the young entrepreneurs. This is a Power Breakfast where there is a Star Round Tables with one successful entrepreneur, one investor mentoring/ interacting over breakfast with 7 – 8 young startup entrepreneurs. The breakfast will be with eminent speakers from India Quotient, Trifecta Capital, Matrix Partners, Unilazer Ventures, Unitus Seed Fund, GHV Accelerator, Kalaari Capital, India Internet Fund and moe.

• The third session Will be on customer delight for growth by the name ‘Panel Love Conquers All’. This Fashion will be led by Amit Chaudhary, co-founder of Lenskart, Suchi Mukherjee, founder of Limeroad, Nishant Patni, co-founder of CultureAlley, Sanjeev Bikhchandani, founder of Naukri.com.
• The fifth session will be on discussing the panel Internet India report. This will be done by Rohan Dhamija, partner, head India South Asia, Analysis Mason; Karan Mohla, exective directorIDG ventures India; Arvind Gupta from BJP; Rajan Anandan, MD of Google Southeast Asia and India; Sukumar Ranganathan, Editor Mint; and Prasantho K Roy, digital Consultant And evangelist.
