IBM Global Entrepreneurship Program Announces SirionLabs As Winner Of SmartCamp 2015 Challenge

Winding up its months-long Global Entrepreneurship Program, IBM has announced SirionLabs, a provider of enterprise SaaS products focused on post-signature management of complex services contracts, as the winner of Smartcamp 2015 challenge.

Followed by Flutura, a niche big data analytics solutions to transform operational outcomes by monetising machine data, as runners-up and Shephertz, cloud ecosystem provider in the area of PaaS (Platform as a Service), Cloud Computing and SaaS, as second runners-up.

The startups were selected out of 45 startups that were selected after the regional finals held in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.These startups were judged by Ravi Gururaj, Angel investor, serial entrepreneur and Chairman of Nasscom Product Council; Sanjay Anandram, Veteran Venture Capitalist; Piyush Gupta, Advisor to CEO of Infosys and Serial Entrepreneur from Valley and Dulles Krishnan Executive Director, Smarter Commerce Solutions, IBM Asia Pacific.

The winners will be provided access to IBM’s enterprise cloud portfolio and third-party cloud services built around open APIs through which startups will be able to build and monetize their solutions. Also, by providing a global path to the enterprise, IBM GEP will help accelerate startup’s growth.

Global Entrepreneur Program was launched in 2014 by IBM with an aim to provide comprehensive and strong network resources to drive collaborative cloud innovation for startups. IBM’s SmartCamp 2015, under GEP, was a startup challenge for B2B startups to help them build, innovate, scale and accelerate via IBM’s global network of enterprise clients, consultants and innovation centres.

Besides, Sirionlabs, Flutura and Shephertz, the other finalist in the Grand Finale of Smartcamp 2015 were XLPAT, K Point, Wonobo, Takemyshipment, Parablu and Whatfix. Also, startups including Staqu Technologies, Qustn, Silverpush, Smartcloud, Infotech Pvt Ltd, AllizHealth, Aureas Analytics, Medibox, Lightmetrics and maintained their positions in Top 18.
