Gurgaon-based GHV Accelerator is all set to onboard 10 more startups (under its 12 month acceleration program) by March 2016. The accelerator has already onboarded 5 innovative and disruptive startups from various domains such as food-tech, hyperlocal, laundry, taxi, fitness etc. These startups include LazyLad, My Taxi India, Foodport, Pick My Laundry and FitMeIn.

Started by serial entrepreneur and Indian Angel Network member, Vikram Upadhyaya, GHV Accelerator provides mentorship, along with a capital  of USD 100K, and a controlled environment for the startups, due to which, the startups can focus their energies on the core activities of their ventures, such as product strengthening and achieving growth metrics.

The accelerator is well poised to lap up disruptive startups with potential for hockey-stick growth and offer them the necessary ingredients in order to strengthen their business metrics. *Hockey-stick growth is a line chart in which a sharp increase or decrease occurs over a period of time.

Vikram Upadhyaya, Chief Mentor and Evangelist at GHV Accelerator said,”Both our startups- LazyLad and MyTaxiIndia are growing as per plan and have a clear-cut vision on the road ahead. Being highly mentorable teams, they have demonstrated not only undiluted passion and resilience, but a commitment that is sure to set them apart.”

Both startups from GHV – Lazylad and MyTaxiIndia – have already  bagged pre-series A funding within 60 days of signing up.

Saurabh Singla, CoFounder of Lazylad said, “GHV provides the right amount of ingredients at the right time required by an early stage startup. We have grown 500% under the umbrella of GHV; especially with the guidance of Vikram – you are definite to build a strong self sustainable business”.

GHV has partnership with World Innovation Labs (WiL), a Japan based VC fund that invests in disruptive startups with global appeal, and it brings forward a strong network of VCs, investors and mentors with strong credentials from various industries that gives an extra edge to its portfolio companies . Indian software Industry association NASSCOM too is on GHV’s board as a collaborative partner through NASSCOM’s 10,000 Startups program thus giving GHV associates an access to NASSCOM’s network.

Anshuman Mihir, co-founder at MyTaxiIndia said,”We had the great idea, a wonderful team and passion to transform our idea into reality. But some of the key matrices were missing. GHV believed and helped us to find those matrices and gave us wings to fly high”.

Deal discovery platforms like – LetsVenture and Applyifi have also collaborated with GHV.
