Flipkart is rebranding from ground zero, few days back the company revamped its website and cleverly enmeshed a smile in its new logo. The homegrown ecommerce giant has now come up with a new video “Flipkart wish chain”.

The video starts with an old guy who wishes to keep himself busy start growing plants in his backyard and sends the fruit to his relative and how one thing led to another it all turned into a wish chain. The video touches on an emotional level where it incorporates every possible emotion, every responsibility which leads to wishes so meticulously that makes the video appealing. With a son fulfilling his responsibility towards his father, a mother’s wish to keep her daughter happy, a corporate’s wish to pursue his passion of photography, all wishes are fulfilled via Flipkart’s #AbHarWishHogiPoori. Not only this, the video focuses on the company’s mobile strategy giving away easter eggs as to how it plans to make itself more mobile-friendly in the upcoming future.

The recently launched new logo also simply promotes its mobile only strategy through use of 3D design and contrasting colour that are being used helps to break the clutter and make it stand out on the mobile platform. Shoumyan Biswas, senior director, marketing said, “The refreshed brand identity, including the new logo, is a reflection of our promise to our stakeholders – youthful, innovative, fast and reliable.
