The travel industry is evolving rapidly, and I look forward to working with the talented team at Cleartrip to create exceptional travel experiences and drive sustainable growth.”

Months after Cleartrip’s chief executive officer Ayyappan Rajagopal stepped down from his role, the Flipkart-owned travel platform has roped in fintech startup Jupiter’s chief product and marketing officer Anuj Rathi as its new CEO.
This was first reported by The Arc.
Cleartrip has declined to comment on Inc42’s queries on the development.

In 2021, Cleatrip was acquired by Walmart-owned Flipkart for $40 Mn in a distressed sale.
In February, Rajagopal announced his departure after his 11-year stint with the Flipkart group through a LinkedIn post. He has held various positions at companies like Flipkart, Myntra and Cleartrip.
“After 11 years, 10 Big Billion Days, 7 different roles, 3 very different companies (Flipkart Myntra Cleartrip), time has come for me to bid adieu to the Flipkart group – the OG of the startup ecosystem in the country,” Rajagopal had said in his post.
Last month, Cleartrip announced Aditya Agarwal’s departure from his role as chief financial officer (CFO).
To scale up its corporate travel position, Cleartrip has recently launched Out of Office (OOO), its new product for corporate bookings, specifically designed for small, medium and large enterprises.
