If you have ever wished to ride in a supercar like Ferrari, Lamborghini  or Hummer, here’s a chance to live your dream, if you are residing in Delhi.

Uber is providing a free ride in Delhi in any of the supercar available for 15 minutes . This offer is valid only for today (15th July) from 1 PM to 4 PM.

The taxi service has partnered with Droom, a Gurgaon based online marketplace to buy and sell used and new automobiles.

To avail this offer, the user has to open the Uber app and Delhi users will see a special category of UberSuperCars at the bottom. After clicking on that, depending on the location, the supercars will be displayed and ride can be confirmed. The user cannot choose the supercar. The nearest available supercar will be offered. Moreover, the pick up and drop locations will be the same.

The vehicle won’t be available for test drive and as most of the supercars are coupe, so it won’t be able to accommodate family/ friends.

Uber also mentions, ‘demand will be high and availability will be limited’; the users have to keep trying till they don’t get a ride.

This offer was earlier available in Singapore and Malaysia also with same rules.

Karun Arya, Communications Lead of South Asia and India of Uber said, “This is the first time we’re bringing UberSUPERCARS to India, for real.”

Rishab Malik, Co- founder and VP, Business Development at Droom said, “Through this campaign we wish to bring people who have longed to enjoy a first-hand experience of super cars one step closer to owning their very own mean machine,”

Riders can also post their selfies on social networking sites to win some surprise gifts from Uber.

Through this campaign, Uber has taken a step ahead of its competitors Ola and  Meru. This initiative came days after Delhi High Court set aside state government’s order rejecting the application of Uber to operate in the capital.
