Kung Fu Panda 3 released in Indian theatres last weekend. The Dragon Warrior was awaited for a long time in the country as it released in the US in January.

While the previous parts were mainly concentrated on ‘Po’ discovering himself as a warrior, in the third part he is reunited with his Panda family and he has to be a mentor and, must channel his inner ‘chi’ to save the world.

Here are a few quotes from the movie, to keep you going on an overwhelming day-

You must take the next step on your journey, from warrior to teacher

Every one faces a time in their lives where they have to take the leap of faith. It’s important to be good at what you do. But the journey doesn’t end there. You need to be willing to do new and different things in life. In this case, Po is expected to take his skills to the next level and pass on his legacy and knowledge to others.

In the same way, once you’ve established yourself and set your foot on the ground, don’t just stop there. Be a mentor, expand your capabilities.

Time is an allusion, there is only the now

There will be multiple people and multiple instances where people will tell you that this isn’t the right time. they will stop you from making vital decisions and will try and deviate you from the path you’ve chosen. There is no good time or a bad time to postpone the right action. The only time is now. Act right on time and save yourself from unnecessary contemplation.

If you only do what you can do, you’ll never be better than what you are

Practice makes a man perfect. And rightly so, but business is not a sport where you can succeed by doing only one particular job int he same repetitive manner. There will be challenges and if you’re not ready for innovation and you’re not ready for adopting and modifying your strategy then you might face a tough battle.

I am not trying to turn you into me, I am turning you into you.

This comes when Po thinks he will never be able to be like Master Shifu. Who in return tells him, that he needs to trust his individuality. Try and be is own best version rather than trying to imitate or be like Shifu. In the same way, it’s good to idealise someone but, you should work towards being the best of you. Your individuality is the factor that will make you outstanding.

Your real strength comes from being your best you

At the end of the day, you are the one you can rely on and can trust. You have to have faith in yourself and give yourself that boost. It’s easier to imitate but, you can only shine if you’re being yourself. You need to be confident about it and try and stop following the heard. Listen to the voice of your soul and keep yourself motivated. Be distinct and take pride in deriving your strength in being different.
