To meet its ambitious goals, UpScalio will focus on expanding the consumer brands’ geographical footprint while also ramping up new product development

Roll-up ecommerce company asserts having an A-team that helps businesses to grow 5-10X and unlocks wealth for original founders, by providing a full exit over time

Ecommerce rollup startup UpScalio has acquired a stake in consumer brands including Gizga, Tizum, Aircase, and HomePuff. The brands are category leaders and operate in the next-gen computer, PC and phone accessories, laptop bags, and kitchenware segment respectively.

UpScalio stated these brands have a significant market share in their respective verticals and hold a unique stance as category leaders on Amazon with positive reviews, ratings and recall.

Established by Dinesh Vardhan, Vikram Vardhan and Amit Hingarh some seven years ago, these consumer brands are claimed to be bolstered with a scrupulous procurement system, which have contributed to their steady growth, said the startup in a statement.

“UpScalio has created a fabulous strategic roadmap for Gizga, Tizum, AirCase and HomePuff. We are excited to see a greater section of customers enjoy and appreciate our efforts in building a category defining house of brands. The brands are in the right hands as they enter their next phase of hypergrowth, and we are confident that UpScalio will bolster the market position of these brands,” said, Dinesh Vardhan, cofounder of HomePuff, and partner at Istuff365, said.

UpScalio aims to scale these brands into INR 200 Cr annual recurring revenues (ARR) in the next two years. To achieve its ambitious goals, the unicorn will focus on expanding the brands’ geographical footprint while also ramping up new product development. It will also plan an eventual B2B foray to unlock new growth avenues for these brands.

“Laptops and mobile devices are becoming intrinsic to every household. Along with kitchenware, their utility is extremely high and the category is poised to be disrupted by the technologically-superior and aggressive growth-minded brand. We look forward to helping these brands achieve scale new heights by leveraging our core capabilities around brand building, marketing,NPD and supply chain optimisation,” said, Saaim Khan, cofounder and COO, UpScalio.

Founded by Khan, Gautam Kshatriya and Nitin Agarwal in 2021, UpScalio is a data-driven consumer goods company. It infuses money in ecommerce businesses that sell on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces, and their own websites.

Following this, it claims that its A-team helps these businesses to grow 5-10X and unlocks wealth for original founders, by providing a full exit over time.

Of late, UpScalio invested an undisclosed sum in home and gardening brand, Truphe aiming to increase the gardening company to INR 50 Cr ARR in the coming one to two years. It informed that it will be working on Truphe’s inventory regionalisation, brand marketing and sourcing to augment the brand.

In late 2021, rollup ecommerce startup infused money in Autofurnish that leads four auto accessories brands–Destorm, Urban Lifestylers, Autofurnish and MotoTrance. It decided to augment these auto brands to an ARR of INR100 Cr.

In the same time period, it made investment in high-end kitchen appliances’ startup, Hestia planning to increase the brand revenue to INR 50 Cr ARR and 10X growth in the coming two to three years. Besides this, it also put money into travel bags startup Polestar,  D2C furniture brand Green Soul Ergonomics and footwear brand Trase in the same year.
