Logistics giant Ecom Express, which counts Partners Group, Warburg Pincus and British International Investment among its marquee investors, has roped in former founder of proptech venture Multiliving Technologies, Pankaj Singh, as chief commercial officer (CCO).

Singh was also associated with multiple brands, which include The House of Abhinandan Lodha where he worked as chief growth officer.

“Pankaj’s deep understanding of running startups and a sharper focus on driving cost efficiency will enable tangible results and drive a larger P&L impact for the company,” said Ajay Chitkara, chief executive and managing director of Ecom Express.

Founded by TA Krishnan, Manju Dhawan, K Satyanarayana and Sanjeev Saxena in 2012,  Ecom Express offers end-to-end logistics solutions and facilitates first-mile pickup, processing and last-mile delivery. Prior to that, in June, the company announced the appointment of former Airtel Business executive Ajay Chitkara as its new managing director and CEO.
