Drone Destination has launched 'Drone Hub', an e-commerce platform for drone-related products
The platform offers drones, drone parts, consumables, avionics, and BIS-approved drone batteries
The launch is part of Drone Destination's '#EverythingDrones' initiative and aims to address supply chain issues in India's growing drone industry
Drone startup Drone Destination has rolled out an ecommerce platform ‘Drone Hub’ to offer a range of products, including drones, drone parts, consumables, avionics and BIS-approved drone batteries.
As part of this move, Drone Destination will also provide timely supply-chain support to India’s drone ecosystem and offer efficient after-sales service.
Founded by Chirag Sharma in 2019, Drone Destination claims to be India’s largest drone pilot training and leading drone-as-a-service company. The company’s portfolio includes solutions for agriculture spray, aerial surveying and asset inspection services.
“Drone Hub marks a milestone in our initiative of #EverythingDrones to support India’s drone sector. We recognize the sourcing challenges faced by drone operators, and our platform is designed to provide a seamless shopping experience. By offering timely after-sales support and a steady supply of essential components, we are committed to enhancing operational efficiency for our customers,” said Sharma.
In July, Drone Destination partnered with National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) to set up a drone training centre at the National Science and Technology Council in Delhi.
It became the first drone company to list on the NSE Emerge platform. The company’s training programmes equip aspiring pilots with safety and efficiency skills, covering regulatory compliance to advanced manoeuvres.
As per Inc42’s report 2023, the Indian drone market is expected to reach $13 Bn in size by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 21% between 2022 and 2030.
