Gurugram-based edtech startup CollegeDekho has appointed Nikunj Bhatter as head of the product and engineering. At his new role, Bhatter will focus on expanding both the product and engineering teams, with a goal of scaling current offerings of the company as well as product development for new business verticals. The main emphasis of Bhatter will be on automation of processes to achieve scalability along with improving user experience across platforms.

Before joining CollegeDekho, Bhatter has worked with Aakash Digital as assistant vice-president of product and innovation. With more than a decade of experience, Bhatter has worked extensively across the education sector and has worked with Monster.com, and HT Media, amongst others.

Founded by Ruchir Arora, Saurabh Jain, Rohit Saha, and Rajiv Singh, CollegeDekho provides a transparent and open platform that facilitates interaction between students and colleges. The startup helps students discover the right career choices.

Karvy Group Appoints Amitabh Chaturvedi As Group CEO

Hyderabad-based fintech startup Karvy Group has appointed Amitabh Chaturvedi as the group CEO of financial services. At his new role, Chaturvedi will overhaul the governance processes, ensuring best businesses practices under the financial domain of the company. Prior to this, he has previously been associated with financial organisations such as Dhanalakshmi Bank, Reliance AMC, ICICI and the Essel Group. Chaturvedi has an experience of over 30 years of experience in the financial services space.

Founded in 1982, the Karvy Group provides financial services, such as stockbroking, distribution of financial products, wealth management, corporate finance, commodities broking, NBFC, data management services, investment banking, and depository participant, among others. Speaking on his appointment, Chaturvedi said that the company’s leadership team will work on making the brand stronger.
