CIIE Announces GrowthCamps, Invites Applications From Startups

Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) has announced the launch of the GrowthCamps and is inviting applications from startups across the country to participate in the programmes designed across four different domains – Financial Tech, Cloud, Analytics and Internet of Things.

CIIE GrowthCamps, to be held in Pune, are a series of sector specific two-day programs which provide startups with the unique opportunity to collaborate with an anchor corporate acts as a mentor for startup organizations. It includes one-on-one time with senior staff covering product strategy reviews, sales channel enablement, and a CXO dinner.

Startups in the following domains can apply for the event: Cloud infrastructure, Cloud computing, Enterprise mobility, Cloud virtualization, Fintech, Payments, Internet of Things, EGovernance, Aadhar, Analytics, Telecom, and Adtech.

“We are excited about the upcoming GrowthCamps, and we have been seeing tremendous interest within the startup community. The companies chosen to participate in the upcoming batch will have a unique opportunity to showcase their products to decision-makers from leading companies in their fields,” said Mr. Maneesh Bhandari, Director, Pune Operations at CIIE.

A CIIE team will travel to Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi to interview each startup for 10 min . A total of 6 startups would be selected to participate in the GrowthCamps and showcase their product. Besides this, startups will get a chance to be connected to CIIE-IIM Ahmedabad’s global community and learn more about worldwide opportunities.

Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) is the technology business incubator at IIM Ahmadabad. The incubator aims to help the nation’s budding entrepreneurs set up innovative, disruptive and scalable ventures through various mentoring, incubation, advising and funding initiatives. CIIE’s activities are broadly split into three verticals: ICT, web and mobile; cleantech and renewable energy & social impact.
