Continuing its vision to support startups in India and to provide young entrepreneurs a platform to accelerate their growth, Inc42, has announced the launch of ‘Big Shift – Ice Breaking Summit’.
The event, Big Shift – Ice Breaking Summit, is organised in association with Jaarvis Accelerator and powered by Nasscom 10K Startups. It aims to address the demand of growth acceleration among the youthpreneurs. The summit is the flagship event of “The Misfits” initiative focussed on enabling the startup big shift in the early stage startup community across India.
To give a kickstart to the event, co-organiser Jaarvis Accelerator is giving an opportunity to startups working in the domains like Fintech, Bitcoin, Blockchain, IoT, Agritech, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence to join its residential accelerator program in Hong Kong.
Now startups dealing in the sectors mentioned above can get an opportunity to pitch to the Jaarvis accelerator during the event at Innov8, Connaught Place, New Delhi, on Thursday, 21st April.
The registration is open to all. Out of the total applications received, 15 startups will pitch during the event. Top three startups stand a chance to get a get wild-card entry to pitch to the Jaarvis board and win a chance to be a part of the 4-month residential accelerator programme in Hong Kong.
Interested startups can be a part of the program and pitch their ideas.
Following this event, Inc42 will expand the Misfit initiative geographically, and build an online and offline community across metros and tier II, III cities, eying at impacting a quarter million millennials by 2020.
Amit Pandey, COO at Inc42 said, “While there are hundreds of initiatives around startups, with most of them focused around the early stage segment, the industry still remains unorganised. Young entrepreneurs don’t have an one stop platform for the knowhow of the whole scenario. That’s where ‘The Misfits’ comes in.”
