As proven by the Bengaluru startup ecosystem’s enthusiasm to unwind without an agenda hovering around, at the latest edition of the Inc42 Mixer on September 19.
The incredible setting at Biergarten in Koramangala was the perfect foil allowing founders and investors to unwind with no pressure at all. The relaxed ambience set the tone for startup founders, investors and influencers to have an evening of unadulterated fun over great food, cocktails, music and conversation.
The Mixer saw over 75 startup ecosystem members, and for many, it was the first time at the Inc42 event. This included the likes of Sunil Rao, partner, business services at Lightspeed India Partners Advisors, Sandeep Daga, CFO, NestAway, Aayush Jain, technology evangelist, Amazon Web Services, Prathibha Sastry, CEO and founder, PS : NEXT.Women.
Speaking to Inc42 after the Mixer, Sastry said, “It’s a great place to be. We all have a lot of ideas. There are so many new faces today and that is really encouraging bringing new people into the whole ecosystem. And I hope many more women entrepreneurs will be seen at such events in the future.”
Since its inception in 2015, the Inc42 Mixer has been a roaring success and with each new edition, its audience of entrepreneurs, investors and influencers has grown in strength and calibre. Beyond mere chit-chat, these scintillating evenings have proven to be extremely beneficial for networking and building connections through on-the-go conversations and catch-ups.
Since these conversations are held in an informal setting, there are no nerves and no pressure on anyone to impress others. And this has helped people strike up impromptu conversations with entrepreneurs and investor, something that they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to do on an everyday basis.
