B2B apparel sourcing and manufacturing startup ZYOD has raised $18 Mn (around INR 150.2 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by RTP Global.
The round also saw new investors joining the captable like Stride Ventures, Stride One and Trifecta Capital, along with existing backers Lightspeed and Alteria Capital.
With the freshly raised proceeds, the startup aims to sharpen its focus on technological advancements and talent acquisition, while expanding operations across over 40 countries.
Founded in 2023 by Ankit Jaipuria and Ritesh Khandelwal, ZYOD is an apparel manufacturing firm that makes quality fashion more accessible and affordable. In the initial months of the company’s inception, the startup claimed to have served over 150 customers across 13 countries. It also claims to have a network of more than 30 local suppliers.
“With this funding we will continue to collaborate closely with local hand picked manufacturers, leveraging our deep expertise in manufacturing to unlock a new phase of growth. Our focus will remain on tech advancements, bringing in more talent and continuing to transform India’s apparel manufacturing ecosystem,”said Jaipuria.
Khandelwal added, “Looking ahead, we aim to double our customer base, introduce 100,000 unique designs every month catering to a global audience and keep innovating to stay ahead of the industry trends.”
