Inc42 Daily Brief
Stay Ahead With Daily News & Analysis on India’s Tech & Startup Economy
Everything great has to come to an end sometime or the other. And with that the StartupDash Pune edition has finally come to an end. The past three days have been pretty interesting for everyone here. After going through more than 100 applications, we shortlisted 12 startups who went through a number of grooming and mentoring sessions from the mentors and finally pitched today to the group of mentors including:
Maneesh Bhandari, Entrepreneur & Angel Investor; Vikram Mehmi, Ex CEO of Idea, Birla Sun Life Insurance, Subrahmanyam Kavuri, AVP at Persistent Systems and Abhishek Gupta of TLabs.
And the winners for the Startupdash Pune Edition are:
Realise: It is focussed on building a visualization platform that enables brands and retailers to showcase their products inside their customer’s homes through a mobile app.
Flynx: Flynx loads web pages in background while one is doing something more productive than staring at screen in anticipation.
Hootout: HootOut is an interactive way of posting. It enriches posting experience with varied content types and features.
The three days were quite helpful for the startups (That’s what we heard) each startup got One-on-One sessions from our group of mentors, who helped these startups to groom and mould their product before taking their startups to the market.
Maneesh Bhandari, Entrepreneur & Angel Investor, said, “StartupDash is filling a critical gap in the Pune entrepreneurial eco-system. The selection process was excellent and overall an awesome event.
“Happy to see StartupDash coming to Pune for workshops instead of Mumbai. Pune needs many more such events,” said Vikram Mehmi.
