3 Startups Raises Funding From Rajasthan Angel Investor Network

RAIN (Rajasthan Angel Investor Network) has announced its investment in 3 Jaipur based startups. These include, online media company Blue Box Media Pvt Ltd, auto rickshaw finder app called Chaloge Kya, and Kidswids, a unit of 3D-printing company MakerKart.

The funding rounds were led by RAIN members Sanjay Yadav, Puneet Mittal, Ajay Data and Mahavir P Sharma.

Blue Box Media Pvt. Ltd. – It owns two portals SpringTide and TheTechPortal and is into online and print media with a sole objective of bringing the youngsters across India on a common platform. It is also into branding solutions for startups and businesses providing niche services for website, app, graphics and content development alongwith digital advertising and social media marketing.

Locus Transit Pvt. Ltd. – It is behind the app, Chalogekya.com an auto rickshaw web and mobile service in the city which provide technology and transit assistance to the locals in a safe and smart manner.

Kidswids – It deals in personalized and customized items for children from 3-12 years. The main motive of Kidswids is to provide new amazing solution to their customers from the wide range of  products.

“The latest round of early-stage seed funding is in continuation of our theme of backing inclusive innovations and supporting bright and energetic youngsters whose entrepreneurial dreams may not otherwise see their rightful conclusion,” said Mahavir P Sharma, president and founder-member of RAIN.

Going forward, RAIN plans to invest in 3 – 4 more startups by the end of this current financial year.

Last year,  RAIN had acquired 30% stake in online marketplace for organic products, Organic Shop.
