The Delhi High court has called the ban imposed by the Delhi Government on taxi booking companies Ola and Taxiforsure as invalid. Ola had filed a petition in High Court for this, following this order now Uber is also planning to go to the court.
The transport authorities started impounding cabs run by Ola and Uber last week.
The High Court said that the Ban was not valid and should not be the grounds of imposing ban on these companies. It also directed transport authorities to write to Ola for whatever is the license requirement.
Ola spokesperson called this step as a “immense relief” to drivers linked to the company.
