Bollywood Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has partnered with SUGAR cofounders to launch a K-beauty brand, Quench Botanics.

In August this year, Kareena Kapoor Khan also invested in a D2C fruits & vegetable brand - Pluckk

Khan has joined Quench Botanics as a co-owner along with SUGAR cofounder, Vineeta Singh.

Kareena also revealed that she has been tracking D2C for a while, calling the country “digitally native, especially in Tier II and Tier III towns”.

Kareena’s co-ownership in Quench Botanics places her among the 2023 D2C investments by Indian celebrities.

In May 2023, Ranvijay Singh invested in the D2C Snacks Brand - Tagz.

Shilpa Shetty invested INR 2.25Cr in D2C brand WickedGud’s parent company, 100Percent Nourishment in the same month.

Kriti Sanon partnered up with mCaffeine in the month of July, to launch the D2C skincare brand - Hyphen.

In August Actress Bhumi Pednekar invested in D2C eco-friendly home essentials startup - EcoSoul.
