A 26-year-old man, Mohammad Nadeem, was arrested for setting fire to an Ola Electric showroom in Kalaburagi, Karnataka.
Nadeem, a mechanic, bought an electric scooter last month and was dissatisfied with the repeated poor servicing.
Frustrated, Nadeem set six scooters on fire, causing damage estimated at INR 850,000. No injuries were reported.
This incident follows another fire two weeks ago at an Ola showroom in Indore, though no casualties occurred.
Despite service quality concerns, Ola Electric is preparing to enter the electric three-wheeler market soon.
