ChatGPT Payment Issue As Indians Queue Up To Get Subscription
On Friday, March 17th, OpenAI declared the launch of its ChatGPT Plus subscription service in India, which will cost $20 (equivalent to INR 1,650) per month.
By subscribing, users will have early access to the features of the newly launched GPT-4.
Despite being largely welcomed by users, the rollout of the service was hindered by technical glitches and payment issues.
“Great news! ChatGPT Plus subscriptions are now available in India. Get early access to new features, including GPT-4 today,” said OpenAI’s official Twitter handle.
Big tech players like Microsoft (who supports OpenAI) and Google have revealed their plans to launch their AI chatbot offerings, coinciding with this new development.
