Another Worry For BYJU'S: India CEO Arjun Mohan Quits

Within a year of joining the edtech firm, BYJU’S India CEO Arjun Mohan is leaving the organisation. 

Following Mohan’s departure, BYJU’S founder Byju Raveendran will take care of day-to-day operations at India business.

On Monday (April 15), BYJU’S also announced a major reorganisation to “streamline its operations and position the company.” 

The edtech giant is consolidating its businesses into three focused divisions — the learning app, online classes & tuition centres, and test-prep.

The new structure aims to make each vertical more agile, cost-effective, and poised to seize market opportunities, all while harnessing the strength of the BYJU’S brand and ecosystem.

After a thorough seven-month operational review and cost optimization exercise led by outgoing BYJU’S India CEO Arjun Mohan, he will now transition to an external advisory role
