US-based ad revenue optimisation platform, AdPushup, has raised an undisclosed amount in Series A round of funding. The investment was led by Japan-based adtech company\u00a0Geniee, Inc., who is a major shareholder in\u00a0SoftBank Group Corp.\r\n\r\nExisting investors along with Chicago-based investment firm Purvi Capital also participated in the round.\r\n\r\nThe companies have also entered into a strategic alliance aimed at extending services to Japan and Southeast Asia and collaborating mutually on proprietary ad optimisation technologies.\r\n\r\nThe company will use the funds to increase team size as well as expand its operations by accommodating integration with more ad networks and WordPress-independent websites.\r\n\r\nFounded in 2013 by Ankit Oberoi, and Atul Agarwal, AdPushup integrates with ad networks like Google AdSense to help web publishers test and optimise their ad layouts, thereby increasing ad revenue, without compromising on the UX. The machine \u00adlearning based algorithms can automatically fight banner blindness using continuous automated optimisation. The company develops and provides Geniee SSP, a platform designed to maximise revenue for media publishers. Geniee also offers MAJIN, a marketing automation service that utilises AI and automation to improve marketing activities at every stage from attracting customers to prompting sales.\r\n\r\nIt currently serves over 60 billion impressions every month in Japan and SouthEast Asia, which are to be further optimised using the machine \u00adlearning-driven ad layout optimisation platform developed by AdPushup.\r\n\r\nTalking about the investment, Ankit Oberoi, co-\u00adfounder, AdPushup, said, \u201cWe are changing how ads are delivered on the Internet.
