This is the platform operated by the wholesale arm. Puchalapalli became a part of the company in July 2016 and is Director of New Initiatives at the company.\r\n\r\nFurther, Dave McClure, 500 Startups co-founder, has resigned as General Partner at the firm he co-founded. This comes after several women complained of sexual harassment by McClure. Prior to this, Dave McClure accepted guilt for his wrongdoings and apologised to his team in a Medium blog post. Dave McClure posted his apology soon after he stepped back from operational functions as the Founding Partner. In a related development, 500 Startups partner Elizabeth Yin also resigned on Monday. She stated that the firm wasn\u2019t forthcoming with employees about the reasons for McClure\u2019s departure and was slow to separate from him.\r\nRahul Yadav Joins ANAROCK\r\nAfter multiple attempts at different startup ideas, Rahul Yadav, former CEO and co-founder of Housing.com has re-joined the real estate. Yadav has been appointed as the Chief Product and Technology Officer of ANAROCK Property Consultants.\r\n\r\nANAROCK was launched by industry stalwart Anuj Puri last month. In his current role, Rahul will be building a team of product and technology experts to improvise ANAROCK.\r\n\r\nA company statement mentions that before joining ANAROCK, Rahul also advised the Lodha Group for a brief period. He will be based out of ANAROCK\u2019s Mumbai offices in Bandra-Kurla Complex.\r\nJust Dial CFO Ramkumar Krishnamachari Steps Down\r\nRamkumar Krishnamachari, chief financial officer of online local business search engine Just Dial Ltd, has resigned from the firm.\r\n\r\nKrishnamachari will be relieved from his duties with effect from 30 September 2017. However, his plans post-resignation have not been revealed.\r\n\r\nHe joined Just Dial in 2010 and was instrumental in laying the groundwork for its initial public offering (IPO) in 2013. In his role as CFO, Krishnamachari led the firm\u2019s finance, legal, taxation and secretarial functions besides being responsible for investor relations and stakeholder management.\r\n\r\nHe is an experienced leader with over 26 years of experience, of which last 13 years have been in the role of CFO.\r\nSnapdeal SVP Business Finance Quits\r\nVivek Patankar, the Senior Vice President at Snapdeal has quit the company. He had been with the company for the last over two years.\r\n\r\nHe was brought in at a crucial time when the company's then chief financial officer Akash Moondhra had left. Post-resignation, he is expected to have quit the e-commerce firm to join an offline retail firm in India.\r\n\r\nA chartered accountant with a Masters in Business Administration from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Patankar was responsible for business partnering, financial planning and procurement. Patankar has earlier worked with companies such as Unilever and Marico Limited.\r\nMyntra Executive Shamik Sharma Joins pi Ventures; Another Joins Rakuten\r\nEarly-stage venture capital fund pi Ventures has appointed former Myntra executive Shamik Sharma as a venture partner. In his new role, Shamik will work with portfolio companies\u2019 founders to help them design their product roadmaps and hire talent. His role also involves bringing startups to their deal pipeline.\r\n\r\nShamik was previously the chief product and technology officer at fashion e-tailer Myntra, where he was responsible for driving technology strategy and culture. He has also worked as vice president for software at Lytro, a light field camera startup. Prior to that, he has held executive roles at RockYou, StumbleUpon and Yahoo.\r\n\r\nSharma is a computer science graduate from IIT-Kharagpur and holds a master\u2019s degree from the University of Maryland.\r\n\r\nIn another development, Former Snapdeal executive Abhishek Rathore has joined Japanese ecommerce major Rakuten as head of product management. Rathore, who was previously director of product management at Snapdeal, left the firm in April to join Rakuten.\r\n\r\nIn his new role, Rathore leads the management of Rakuten\u2019s global e-commerce platform, reporting to the head of the company\u2019s e-commerce division.
