Also, he has done BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.\r\nSwiggy Appoints Dale Vaz As Head Of Engineering And Data Sciences\r\nSwiggy has appointed Dale Vaz as its new Head of Engineering and Data Sciences\r\n\r\nAt Swiggy, Dale will be responsible for driving the company\u2019s technology strategy and building Swiggy\u2019s next generation AI driven platform for hyperlocal discovery and on-demand delivery.\r\n\r\nPrior to this, Dale was working for Amazon.com for 11 years.\r\n\r\nSwiggy will use Dale\u2019s expertise in several technologies including machine learning, big data systems, high scalable low-latency systems, and mobile.\r\n\r\nDale holds a B.E in Computer Science from MIT, Manipal and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.\r\nCheersOye Founder And CEO Joins Saavn\r\nBhavna Lalchandani, former founder and CEO of CheersOye, which is a digital payment and loyalty startup has joined a leading global music OTT platform Saavn as Director \u2013 Brand Solutions.\r\n\r\nPrior to the startup, Bhavna had worked for six years at Yahoo where she was responsible for ad monetisation, revenue growth and also held the position of India Lead Analytics.\r\n\r\nRecently, Reliance Industries Limited announced a strategic transaction with Saavn to form India\u2019s largest platform for music, media and artists.
