The app allows local businesses to acquire and connect with customers over a chat, and get their shops verified. Lookup has also joined hands with Bangalore Police to help public to connect with the police in case of emergencies recently. Recently, Lookup app has raised INR 2.4 Cr. from Japanese investors DeNA Co and Teruhide Sato. Prior to that, it had raised $100K from MKS Switzerland SA, a precious metals and financial services group of companies.\r\n\r\nWhile, the FreshWorld was founded in 2013 by Rajiv Rao. The food tech startup delivers fruits and vegetables straight from farms to homes. It claims to sell fruits and vegetables like a street vendor but by using electric carts. These carts are laced with tablet, printer and communication technologies to provide receipt, track inventory and analyse data to understand customer purchase behavior. Recently, FreshWorld has raised undisclosed amount of funding from Kris Gopalakrishnan.
