Bengaluru is also home to some of India’s most iconic fintech startups, including Flipkart, PhonePe, Cred and Zerodha, BigBasket, Swiggy and Meesho, just to count a few.
The city’s startup ecosystem is increasingly diversifying into emerging sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI), electric vehicles (EVs), spacetech, and cleantech.
Bengaluru also hosts India’s only AI Centre of Excellence, developed in partnership with the World Economic Forum.
Beyond its local impact, Bengaluru is expanding its reach internationally.
