According to Inc42’s <a href="https://inc42.com/reports/indian-tech-startup-funding-report-2024/">Indian Tech Startup Funding Report 2024</a>, Ahmedabad-based startups raised $930 Mn in funding across 160 deals between 2014 and 2024. 
This growth reflects the impact of Gujarat’s proactive policies, such as the Startup Policy launched in 2016, which aimed to nurture entrepreneurship through mentorship, incubation support and funding opportunities. 
Ahmedabad fosters <a href="https://inc42.com/features/gujarats-startup-friendly-after-effect-ahmedabad-rises-as-a-startup-hub/">several notable startups</a> such as Beardo, Lendingkart, Hubilo, BluSmart, Renee Cosmetics and PetPooja, just to count a few. 
The city’s startup ecosystem has witnessed remarkable growth, supported by the Centre for Innovation Incubation &amp; Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at IIM Ahmedabad, the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP), and the Gujarat Startup Scheme and Biotechnology.
