Delhi-based online global travel community for travellers, Tripoto, has launched the beta version of the AI-based travel concierge by the name Tripoto.Ai.
The platform is presently in beta stage. It is a chat-based virtual interactive assistance that can be used for any queries ranging from destinations, top attractions, travel itineraries, how to reach, best time to visit, getaways, restaurants, culture, festivals, hotels, activities, weather, time and distance.
How Does Tripoto.Ai Work?
Tripoto.AI is enabled with advanced natural language processing and a machine learning algorithm that helps it to self-learn from the asked queries. It also uses the content shared on the Tripoto Community and 3rd party APIs to answer such queries.
The startup claims that it had a conversations with more than 5000 travellers within two days of its launch. Going further, it plans to integrate the AI feature with its every module.
Tripoto was founded by ISB alumni Michael Lyngdoh and Anirudh Gupta in 2013. The startup is a social platform to share and discover travel destination. It claims to have the largest curated source of user-generated travel itineraries with around 250,000 itineraries, created through its web and mobile publishing platforms. According to Tripoto, more than 2 Mn travellers use the platform every month and the online community has a cumulative reach of 15 Mn travellers across platforms.
