Just a month after Housing.com’s co-founder Advitiya Sharma’s exit from the company, three more co-founders – Abhishek Anand, Chief Technology Officer, Sanat Ghosh, AVP Product, and Ravish Naresh, CEO of Indian Real Estate Forum, who joined the company following its acquisition, have quit the company.
The three are headed towards starting their new ventures.
The company has confirmed the development. Out of the twelve co-f0unders, now, only three of them are part of the company, these include Snehil Buxy, Chief Product Officer, Jaspreet Saluja, Head Data Operations, and Amrit Raj, Head of Digital Marketing. Four of them had left by 2014.
The news comes less than a year after CEO and co-founder Rahul Yadav had left the company to restart his entrepreneurial journey and had got backing of star investors like Sachin and Binny Bansal and YouWeCan Ventures.
Since Rahul’s exit from the company, Housing.com has made a couple of senior level appointments, these include Nikhil Rungta (Chief Marketing Officer), Nandini Mehta (Legal), and Mani Rangarajan (Chief Finance Officer). The company had appointed Jason Kothari as the new CEO in November last year.
“Housing.com was our dream, and we are glad to see that the current Housing.com leadership team is strong, with very accomplished executives working alongside a young innovative team. We are confident that the positive momentum and high-growth at Housing.com will continue as we move on to our next dream, a new venture,” the three told Mint in an email.
Recently, the company has raised undisclosed amount of funding from Vineet Singh, former business head of 99Acres. Softbank also pumped in $14.7 Mn(INR 100 Cr.) in a fresh round in the company.
As per couple of reports, Housing.com is now looking to raise a new round of funding. On the other side, their are also rumors that Snapdeal is in final stages of acquiring the Mumbai-based Locon Solutions Pvt. Ltd, the parent company of Housing.com.
